Irreversible es una cinta francesa del año 2002, dirigida por el argentino Gaspar Noé y protagonizada por Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel y Albert Dupontel. Es una película contada en orden cronológico inverso, que causó polémica por lo explícito de una escena de asesinato y otra de una violación. La película narra al inicio la búsqueda emprendida por dos hombres, Marcus (Vincent Cassel) y Pierre (Albert Dupontel), quienes desean vengar la violación de Alex (Monica Bellucci), novia de Marcus y ex novia de Pierre. La historia transcurre en París, en el lapso de un día, y consta de trece secciones de diferente duración. Las primeras escenas se caracterizan por mostrar muchas imágenes en rápida sucesión y movimientos caóticos de cámara, pero luego van haciéndose cada vez más pausadas.

¿Qué es un emo?
El significado de emo muchas veces lo asociamos con una persona con un peinado que le cubra una parte del rostro y ropa oscura (en la mayoría de los casos), entonces surge la pregunta: ¿Puede un calvo ser emo?. Para saber más acerca de esto me tome la libertad de investigar acerca en diferentes páginas emos.
El término emo se dice que proviene de la palabra emocional, personas con mucha sensibilidad que se emocionan por cualquier cosa o se cortan… sin embargo esto no es así, ¿porqué?.
A finales de los años 80's el término emo se utilizaba para calificar a las bandas de post hardcore, entre las cuales podemos destacar Rites of Spring, Minor Threat, entre otras; de una de las canciones de Minor Threat surgió el movimiento Straight Edge, los cuales llevan 3 principios básicos:
* - No alcohol.
* - No drogas.
* - No sexo casual o promiscuo.
Con el tiempo fueron pareciendo otros, sin embargo eso fue definido como emo-core -abreviación de emotional hardcore- por la carga emocional que provocaban las bandas, ya que al escucharlos se emocionaban tantos que incluso lloraban.
El emokid suele ser introvertido, y suele escribir mucho sobre sus emociones… tristeza, amor, odio, alegría, etc, el emokid lleva presente el Straight Edge. Sin embargo están los Scenes, los cuales son aquellos que se visten como emos y actúan como tal, pero no se nombran así mismo emo.
Así que podemos concluir con:
* - Emo: introvertido, está en contacto con sus emociones (filosofía, estética, música).
* - Scene: visten y actúan como emos, pero no lo son (estética).
Entonces… retomando la pregunta: ¿Puede un calvo ser emo?. La respuesta es sí, como vimos lo que realmente importa es estar en contacto con sus emociones, así que puede que veas a un emo calvo por ahí, o tal vez no lo sepas porque usa peluca.
